Our Mission & Vision
College Bridge Cafe (CBC) inspires, motivates, and prepares Bronx residents to pursue educational and career goals that expand opportunity and strengthen their community. Through counseling, mentoring, workshops, and resource navigation, CBC supports participants in attaining postsecondary education, workforce credentials, and the skills needed for long-term economic mobility.
We envision CBC as a hub of programs and services where all Bronx residents have access to the knowledge, resources, and opportunities that enable them to contribute to the ongoing revitalization and quality of life in the community.
What We Do
CBC directly serves a diverse population of participants ranging from middle school, high school and college students to older adults through their process of obtaining a degree or other credential. We work to ensure Bronxites attain Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s degrees, or industry-recognized certificates to strengthen their earning potential, economic independence and self determination. We believe in and are committed to Bronxites participating in a highly skilled and well-paid workforce taking advantage of the Bronx revitalization and pivoting job opportunities.
